Labadee in Haiti has the longest over-water zip line in the world: Dragon’s Breath Flight Line. It’s quite high, and you end up going quite fast. The zoom on my camera may obscure just exactly how high and long the zip line is, so here are the numbers: it is 2,600 feet long and 500 feet high. You end up reaching speeds of 40 to 50 miles per hour! You can read the detailed account here.
Amazing fish at Hanauma Bay
The snorkeling at Hanauma Bay is just incredible. You walk a few dozen feet into the water from the beach and you are surrounded by sooooo many colorful fish. There are a lot of different species, and also a lot of fish. This is one of the best places in the world to go snorkeling. You can read the detailed account here.
My extremely close encounters with giant manta rays at night
Snorkeling excursion in Hawaii at night in open waters to see giant oceanic manta rays. The manta rays are friendly, and get extremely close as they feed on plankton. One of the most incredible excursion experiences ever.

I got great video while swimming with a pod of wild dolphins in the ocean
We swam with a pod of 50 spinner dolphins in open water. We followed them part of their way home as they returned from a night of hunting. This way we did not disturb them while they slept and we felt better about not supporting their being in captivity. You can read more details here.
I took slow motion video of giant manta rays as they swam up close during a night dive
I took this video during a snorkeling excursion in Hawaii at night to see giant oceanic manta rays. I recorded these mantas from up close in slow motion (120 fps) to get a clear view of how they move. The manta rays were friendly, and got very close. You can read more details here.
Several giant manta rays got very close during a night dive (part 2)
One of the many videos I was able to take during the 45 minutes the manta rays were feeding. This was during a snorkeling excursion in Hawaii at night to see the giant oceanic manta rays. They were friendly, and got very close. You can read more details here.
