Amazing fish at Hanauma Bay

The snorkeling at Hanauma Bay is just incredible. You walk a few dozen feet into the water from the beach and you are surrounded by sooooo many colorful fish. There are a lot of different species, and also a lot of fish. This is one of the best places in the world to go snorkeling. You can read the detailed account here.

The most amazing place to go horseback riding

If you are of a certain generation, and remember being a child in awe when you first saw giant dinosaurs roam the big screen in swaths of greenery, well, you can relive part of that memory by going to Kualoa Ranch on Oahu. This is where those scenes were filmed and the real thing is definitely awe inspiring. If you are ever going to go horseback riding, this is THE place to go just for the views. I had an amazing time and highly recommend it. You can read the detailed account here.

The Boston aquarium even had a live shark egg with a shark embryo inside

One of the hidden gems at the New England Aquarium is the shark nursery. They had a handful of shark eggs on display with real live tiny little shark embryos inside. This particular one that I recorded on video below is an epaulette shark embryo that is 3 months old. It was set to hatch 1 month later. Thanks to the special lighting you can really see it move around and feed inside the egg. Most people walked by this display since there is so much more going around elsewhere in the aquarium.

Petting sharks and sting rays at the aquarium in Boston

The New England Aquarium has a shark and sting ray touch tank!!! I really enjoyed being able to pet these animals. There was such a huge variety of animals in that tank and there wasn’t anything to be afraid of. There was an especially large leopard whiptail stingray that kept coming back. Such a beautiful creature. You can tell from the video that I couldn’t get enough!

Manoa Falls hike

Some video from our hike to Manoa Falls in Honolulu, Hawaii. It takes about a 2 hour hike through the jungle to get to the waterfall. The jungle there is quite beautiful.

The lush jungle to get to Manoa Falls in 4K video

The jungle you hike through to get to Manoa Falls is very lush and beautiful. Some of the trees are so incredibly big; the huge trees make the setting feel like a scene our of Jurassic Park. Fortunately, no man eating creatures in this jungle as far as we could tell.
