The best fire dancing show on Oahu: dancers at the Polynesian Cultural Center will definitely keep you entertained.
The Polynesian Cultural Center on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii has a popular show. If you plan on catching a fire dance, they are reputed to have the best performers on Oahu. Getting there does require a car (it is located on the opposite side of the island from Honolulu), and the show will take up a good chunk of your evening. However, it is a great way to relax after a day of hiking or snorkeling.
The show starts with the reenactment of some cultural history. This is the longest part of the show. The dancing is quite fun to watch. However, the reason most people are there (or at least the reason we were there) is the fire dancing. Once that begins, get ready to be impressed. We were thoroughly entertained. The dancers have great skill and don’t fail to keep everyone’s attention. Their promo video is quite accurate in terms of what you’ll see (except that it can’t capture how awesome the fire dancing is in real life):
