We went on an excursion to Rio Secreto during our Oasis of the Seas cruise to Cozumel and it was really amazing. It was about an hour traversing water in a cenote (about a mile and a half). The water wasn’t too deep, but there were several areas that were very, very, very tight. You can read the detailed account here.
We swam with a pod of 50 spinner dolphins in open water. We followed them part of their way home as they returned from a night of hunting. This way we did not disturb them while they slept and we felt better about not supporting their being in captivity. You can read more details here.
Thank you for visiting our travel blog! We thoroughly enjoy traveling to exotic locations, especially when there is adventure mixed in with luxury at the end of the day. Unfortunately, finding such locations that are also convenient is not the easiest task. With this blog, we hope to make your experience finding great places and adventures a little easier. You may notice that many of our posts will involve snorkeling as we really love to try that wherever we go. We will post images, videos, and descriptions of travel locations, excursions, and hotels.
