We are so grateful to have recently visited one of the destinations on our “someday” list: French Polynesia. It’s one of the rare places that is even more beautiful in real life than in photographs, which is no small feat given the pictures of this place! French Polynesia’s turquoise water, magical overwater bungalows and one-in-a-million sunsets must be experienced to be believed. The Polynesian people and their islands are still fresh in our memory, as is the feeling of the sweet sea, the smell of the tiare flower, and the taste of the most perfect pineapples.
We recently started posting about our time there, and will create a long series on Bora Bora, Moorea and Tahiti. We’ll write about water vs. land activities on the different islands, which shark swims we liked the most, the best snorkeling excursions, our recommendations on where to stay, the best way to plan your itinerary, etc. If you have any requests or questions you’d like answered, please let us know in the comments.
This will be a long, but fun process as we have over 6 hours of video footage and thousands of photos to go through. We look forward to reliving our adventures with you!
