We had a great time relaxing in Turks and Caicos. We did a lot of snorkeling, and also tried snuba which offers some of the views of scuba with none of the required training. It was a great way for us to test the waters and see if we wanted to scuba dive. There were lots of parrotfish, as well as a few other sea critters around.
We took a Caribbean cruise on the Allure of the Seas, and on our shore day in Saint Maarten we visited some of the island’s must-see locales, including the iguana farm, the French/Dutch border, Orient Beach, and Maho Beach to watch the low-flying planes.
Above is the full video of our snorkeling trip to Trunk Bay in the Virgin Islands. We saw lots and lots of different fish and other sea creatures. Some of the coral there was just massive:
There were also lots of small squid:
Closer to the beach, we also happened to see a big stingray:
And there was one interesting fish that liked to burrow in the sand and hide:
The famous beach at Trunk Bay in St John (US Virgin Islands) is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Amazingly blue water, great sand, and not too many people. The green surrounding landscape and all the small islands are just beautiful as you can probably tell from our video. We spent a lot of time snorkeling in the water, but it’s a great place to go if you just want to tan as well. Trunk Bay is just a short boat and bus ride away from St Thomas.
